Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have used Trailer Signs multiple times over the last few years. We have always had such a great experience, they are prompt with their delivery, easy to communicate with for any questions and the trailer signs are high quality. Have tried other companies in the past and they do not compare to the great customer service that the team at Trailer Signs provides. I would highly recommend them and will be continuing with their services for all our future trailer sign needs.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We've regularly hired VMS signs from Trailer signs for years now. The service is just so prompt and easy. Danny gets back to you really quickly with any emails and requests and is just so helpful and a pleasure to do business with. The signs are good quality with really good brightness on the messages, and Jeremy and the other team members that deliver it work really well with you to position the sign where you want it. Great customer service. 10 STARS team 🙂

Benefits of Coloured VMS Sign Hire

Unlike amber-only signs, 5-Colour VMS Signs allow red, green, yellow, blue and white text — plus symbols and images to create effective messaging to reach passers-by.

5-colour LED technology stands out in daylight, dusk, and night — ideal for visibility on roads, shopping strips, major retail precincts, carparks and more across Melbourne from Burwood to Brooklyn, Narre Warren to Knox and Frankston to Ferntree Gully – we’ve got your suburb covered.

Use colour combinations, symbols or graphics in sequences to reinforce your brand or event theme — whether it’s a coffee cup, or the Australian flag.

We can update your message remotely anytime, from anywhere — ideal for promoting different products, updating event wayfinding and more.

Our Colour VMS Signs are solar-powered with battery back-up for 24/7 visibility in locations where mains power isn’t available, whether that’s in Blackburn or Doncaster, Hoppers Crossing or Highett or anywhere across Melbourne.

Our trailer-mounted Colour VMS Signs are built for Melbourne roads and meet all required Australian standards.

Available for hire starting at 3 days, 3 weeks or 3 months. Our hire terms are flexible with no lock-in contracts, and you move your sign and update your messaging anytime making them ideal for weekend promotions, events, or multi-location retail offers or awareness campaigns.

Let’s Get Your Campaign Moving

Coloured VMS Signs are a powerful way to engage your audience and get your message noticed — especially in busy areas where every second of visibility counts. Whether you’re in the North, East or South of Melbourne, we’ll deliver, set-up and program your Colour VMS Signs for maximum visibility and results.

FAQ – Coloured VMS Trailer Signs

What’s the difference between coloured and amber VMS signs?

Coloured VMS Signs have the capability to display red, green, blue, white, and yellow text — as well as symbols, and graphics. Whereas Amber VMS Signs only display bright amber text, symbols and graphics which are suitable for roadworks.

Can I display my business logo or icon?

Yes! Our team can convert simple graphics or logos for display on our Colour VMS Signs, with the ability to rotate and sequence messaging and graphics.

What content do I need to supply?

We can remotely program the Colour VMS Signs with any message, including symbols and graphics – you just need to tell us what you would like to say, and we will do the rest.

Can I change the message during the hire?

Yes. With our remote programming system you can rotate, add, or update messages anytime during the hire period, free of charge. Just let us know, and we’ll make it happen. If you hire one of our Video Trailers, all you need to do is supply us with the new pre-recorded video content or text message, and we’ll upload it for you.

What locations do you service?

Our Colour VMS Signs can be delivered anywhere in Melbourne from Cheltenham to Campbellfield, Box Hill to Brooklyn, Keysborough to Knox, Dandenong to Doncaster and more. Just tell us where you need them, and we’ll deliver and manage the set-up for maximum visibility.

How quickly can I get a sign delivered?

In most cases, we can deliver your trailer sign within 24–48 hours across [insert suburb]. Need it urgently? Let us know and we’ll do our best to fast-track it.

Do I need council approval for my sign placement?

In some Melbourne suburbs, council approval may be required if you are using public land for events, roadwork signage or safety alerts. For retail sales and promotions, we recommend placement is on private property.
